How we started

Dave Yepsen started full-time January 1, 1998 in Princeton from his home, working with Comprehensive Insurance Services, Inc, which had been formed in 1992.

Sam Schiera was a partner in CIS and hired Dave. Through years of growth, and establishing a larger in presence in Princeton and all the surrounding communities, Dave moved the business into their present location at 717 South Main in Princeton.

Since then, the business has evolved into The Yepsen Insurance Agency, Inc, with a full-time staff of five, while maintaining and growing our well-established relationship of working through Comprehensive Insurance Services, Inc.

We are an independent insurance agency, with a large selection of well-known reputable national and regional insurance carriers.

We were built on the philosophy that we want to be known for doing the things for our clients that other agents don't. We want to be there for our clients when they need us, and be reachable, not just 9-5 Monday through Friday.
